Agglomerated marble are widely used in both residential and public structure. Agglomerated marbles fills life to walls as well as floor area, thereby becoming most Integrated Lifestyle.

Agglomerated marble / stones are made up of Epoxy / polyester resin and marble/stone aggregates. The characteristics of this type of material are the constant color, the absence of breakages (normally present in the natural material), and the possibility of having uniform dimensions of blocks and slabs. The material can be produced in either 12 mm, 20 mm or 30 mm thicknesses. The most common slab format is 3040 mm x 1440 mm for Quartz and 3050 mm x 1240 mm for marbles, but other sizes like 3040 mm x 1650 mm are produced according to market demand.

Todays, Agglomerated marble are used in modular kitchens also. Once the frame and platform of wood/plywood is ready, Agglomerated marbles are installed using deformable adhesive or rubber based adhesive.

Agglomerated marble are very dense in nature and can be called as non-absorbent. Hence, proper adhesive shall be used for the installation along with the primer coat at the bottom surface of the Agglomerated marble. Agglomerated marbles are more sensitive to both thermal expansion and contraction and to dampness from underlying screeds. This sensitivity of the Agglomerated marble, leads the installed stones to warp resulting the edge break.

If the surface is drywall system made up of wood/plywood/metal, use FLEX adhesive, two component, white, rubber based adhesive – flexible tile/stone adhesive for wood & metal surface.
